Since I have a busy life, one of the things I do to destress is to dine out. I love going to new restaurants to savor mouth-watering dishes. I really consider these outings, no matter how simple they are, wonderful experiences. But the food isn’t the only thing I check out but also the resto’s ambiance.

That’s why I was so happy when we got to eat at Weego Bistro, a restaurant and art cafe at the ground floor of Go Hotels Bacolod, Robinson’s Place, Bacolod City. Owned by Mr. Terence Paul Dacles, this 40-seater restaurant’s walls and ceilings are decorated with art by talented local artists. Everyone, including tourists and people who don’t necessarily know anything but appreciate beauty and art, will surely be drawn to the uniqueness and wonderful vibe of this place.

The food is excellent as well. They serve main dishes like lechon kawali, baby back ribs, boneless bangus, fish sticks, and homestyle chicken. They also have Negrense favorites like batchoy, kansi, molo, and dinuguan. Their thin-crust pizzas in Hawaiian, Cheese, Sardines, and Wee’s Special are a must-try. They likewise serve carrot cupcakes with either whipped cream or chocolate ganache frosting. As for drinks, they have beers and coffees featuring the Xacada bottled brews. Tourists can even buy pasalubong items like cashew bars and malunggay revel bars.
