2nd Autoshow Bacolod Draws Major Industry Players
The second edition of Autoshow Bacolod, the very first indoor automobile exhibition that delighted the City of Smiles during its maiden run last year, will again be held at the SMX Convention Center Bacolod from May 11 to 14 this year, according to organizers.
The premier automotive trade show in Negros Island & Western Visayas returns to heat up your summer for another exciting gathering of car enthusiasts and hobbyists from all over the country under one roof. The 2nd Autoshow Bacolod will take place at SMX Convention Center Bacolod, 3rd Level North Wing – SM City Bacolod on May 11 to 14, 2017 – 10:00 AM to 08:00 PM. Admission fee is Php 100 only.
This year’s Autoshow Bacolod will have no less than Total (Philippines) Corporation as event presenter, together with the SMX Convention Center Bacolod which was also instrumental in bringing the exciting auto exhibition to life last year in partnership with organizer Thinkerbelle Events.
John Bernard Ongsingco, SMX Convention Center Bacolod branch manager, expressed confidence that this year’s Autoshow Bacolod will be as successful as last year because of the heightened awareness and greater interest among car enthusiasts, industry players and the general public about such highly entertaining event.
Contract Signing Ceremony. The partnership was signed and sealed between Total (Philippines) Corp., and the show organizer, Thinkerbelle Events & Production last April 8 in Bacolod City. Present during the contract signing were Total (Philippines) Corporation’s executives, Raymond Decena, Vice President for Retail Sales; Dayton Llamas, National Sales Manager; Blanche Arreza, Marketing Manager, Jay Sanchez, Lubricanta Area Manager (Business to Consumer Specialties Division), and Peewi Ybanez of Project Y. Also present were John Bernard Ongsinco, SMX Branch Manager and Cate Pirote, SMX Account Executive; Lory Yulo, Thinketbelle Events’ Trade & Exhibition Manager and April Abelarde, Events Assistant.
“The first Autoshow Bacolod was a big success, and it proves that there is this huge appreciation and interest about cars not only in Bacolod City but in surrounding areas as well,” he said. “We at SMX Convention Center Bacolod are only too happy to be part of this landmark event.”
Ms. Lory Yulo of Thinkerbelle Events said the 2nd Bacolod Autoshow will be formally launched during a press conference within the first week of May at the SMX Convention Center Bacolod.
Aside from Total Philippines and SMX Convention Center Bacolod, this year’s event will feature industry mainstays like Auto Elite Corporation; BW Auto Parts; Centerline Car Audio & Accessories; Citibank; Ford Motors Negros; Harley-Davidson of Cebu; Ironman 4×4 Philippines; Mazda Negros; Metrobank Card Corp.; RM Southern Trading; RCBC; Team Spada; Total Project Y; and Western Electronics.
Auto Elite Corporation, last year’s winner in ‘Best in Show’ and ‘Best in Display’.
The event is supported by the Land Transportation Office (LTO) Bacolod which will conduct a seminar during the event on the latest motoring updates and regulations.
The 2nd Autoshow Bacolod also have C Magazine; Crossover; Barangay 107.1; and Magic 106.3 as media partners.
