CityMall, the newest mall chain to hit Negros Occidental, has just opened the CityMall Cinema Mandalagan in Bacolod last December 01, 2017 while the CityMall Cinema Victorias also opened on the same day. Both cinemas started showing movies on December 02 and are run and operated by CityMall Commercial Centers, Inc. in partnership with ABS-CBN’s Cinescreen, Inc.

CityMall Cinema Mandalagan has 2 cinemas, Cinema 1 is the Regular Cinema while Cinema 2 is the Premier Cinema. Cinema 1 has 104 seats and free seating arrangement, which means you can sit wherever you want. They are operating at Php 190 per person. Cinema 2 has 40 Lazyboy seats, with guaranteed seating. Premier Cinema tickets are priced at Php 250.

CityMall Cinema Victorias has 1 cinema which has 104 seats and free seating arrangement. Ticket price is Php 200 per person.

Compared to other cinemas or movie theaters, CityMall Cinema Mandalagan and Cinema Victorias only has a few seats. These seats however are better than most. The back rest of the seats are taller than most cinemas, almost covering the head of the moviegoers. Furthermore, moviegoers have a better view of the screen because each row is a level higher than those seated in the front rows. The cinemas are also equipped with superior sound system with the Dolby Surround technology. The screens are in matte white.
