Bacolod, Rejoice: You Can Now Have Food Delivered Via GrabFood

For a doting wife and mom like me, there’s nothing more frustrating than not being able to cook for your loved ones. I’m not completely useless around the kitchen but there are just those times when you no longer feel like cooking because you’re too tired or busy. I used to envy those in Metro Manila because they can have great food with only a few clicks and delivered right at their doorstep at no time. But now that GrabFood is already in Bacolod, I have no reason to be envious anymore. I’m simply thankful that finally I can enjoy all the food and other services that Grab has to offer.

About Grab

Grab is a Singapore-based technology company. In addition to transportation, the company offers food delivery, digital payments, and delivery services via mobile app. It mostly operates in Southeast and East Asian countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Japan.

The Grab app assigns taxis and private hire cars to nearby commuters through a location-sharing system. The company makes money by taking a cut of the booking fees. The company also educates taxi drivers on using the smartphone and their mobile app.

My family loves to order food especially during lunch. It’s so convenient and zero hassle for us since you can easily order just by using the app. In times when the weather is bad or we simply don’t feel like eating out, this is the best answer to having food. We’ve been customers of Grab ever since it came to Bacolod (both GrabCar and GrabTaxi) and now GrabFood.

My Favorite Restaurant at GrabFood

I love ordering at Fat Choi Bacolod Restaurant, a Chinese restaurant located at Art District, Lopues Mandalagan, Bacolod City. We ordered our favorite food which is the Five Spice Fried Chicken and we also tried their Honey Soy Glazed Spareribs. The food once delivered is always hot and newly cooked.
