Power Bank Usage and Carriage Guidelines

Power Bank Usage and Carriage Guidelines

Cebu Pacific (CEB) reminds its passengers on the proper usage and carriage of power banks onboard as required by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines.

Passengers may bring power banks with a capacity of up to 100Wh. For power banks with a capacity between 100Wh and 160Wh, passengers can request approval from the check-in counter.

For safety reasons, using and charging power banks are strictly prohibited during the flight.

Power Bank Usage and Carriage Guidelines

Passengers must bring their power banks as a hand-carry item and place them in their pocket or in the seat pocket in front of them.

Power banks and spare lithium batteries are not allowed in the overhead bin or under the seat. They must be hand-carried and packed securely — tape the terminals, use original boxes, or place them in plastic bags or pouches to avoid any risks while flying.
