I always look forward to events where I get to meet and socialize with my fellow bloggers. That’s why I never hesitated to go to this year’s Blogapalooza event held in the City of Dreams Manila, an integrated resort and casino that is also home to three luxurious hotels.

Among the three is Nobu Hotel where the provincial bloggers who participated stayed at. Owned by actor Robert De Niro, Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and film producer Meir Teper, Nobu Hotel never disappoints. This is actually the second time that I’ve had a staycation in Nobu and just like the first time, I had a really great experience. It’s Blogapalooza’s official home where bloggers from Visayas and Mindanao were billeted.

The Blogapalooza ConnecteD happened last October 27 where bloggers all over the Philippines gathered. This annual event spearheaded by Ace Gapuz, is an event that many influencers are always excited to attend. Not only will you meet other bloggers, you’ll also get to mix business with pleasure since you’ll be staying at one of the most luxurious hotels in the metro. Having a staycation in Nobu Hotel is definitely a one of a kind experience. You’ll feel like a celebrity since the staff is welcoming, polite, and very accommodating.

Nobu Hotel’s zen-like atmosphere makes it different from other hotels. The ambiance is so relaxing it makes you forget that you’re actually in a city. It’s a paradise away from all that chaos. The hotel is like only 20 minutes away from the airport.

They have different rooms like Deluxe (36 sq.m.), Premier (42 sq.m.), Executive (46 sq.m.), and Suite (68 sq.m.). Deluxe is the cheapest while the Suite is the most expensive. All the rooms have complimentary wireless as well as LAN internet, 47’ LED television, JBL docking station, iron and ironing board, and a fully-stocked minibar. The interiors are amazing and the beds are comfortable.

The hotel has restaurants located in the ground floor. If you don’t feel like going down, you may have food delivered to your room. If you want French food, eat at The Tasting Room; for Japanese food, there’s Nobu Restaurant; Crystal Dragon for Chinese and Cantonese meals; Breeze for some western as well as Asian food; Hide Yamamoto for some Japanese cuisine; and the Ruby Jack’s Steakhouse and Bar for the steak. Get ready for a gastronomic experience.

Among the world-class amenities they have are spa & salon, fitness center, and coffee shops. You can also do some shopping at Porsche, Hugo Boss, Hermes, Mont Blanc, Bulgari, and Rolex among others. Of course there’s the casino if you want to try your luck, and Dreamplay where your kids can have so much fun.

Other entertainment areas in Nobu Hotel are the Center Play, a non-stop entertainment bar, and K-Golf, an indoor golf that uses the latest in digital simulation. Nobu Hotel also has a swimming pool and gardens where you can take leisurely walks. They can be used by all the guests. Nobu Hotel is indeed the best place for weekend family staycations.
