Negros Power Strengthens Environmental Commitment In Coastal Clean-Up Drive

Negros Power reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability and community service by actively participating in a coastal clean-up drive organized by the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) in Bacolod City. The initiative took place on March 12, 2025, at Purok Punta Balhas, Barangay Pahanocoy, and gathered nearly 300 volunteers from various organizations.

A Unified Effort for a Cleaner Environment

The clean-up drive was held under the theme “Sa pag-iwas sa sunog, hindi ka nag-iisa” (In preventing fires, you are not alone), highlighting the connection between environmental cleanliness and fire prevention. By removing waste and debris from the coastal area, the participants not only helped preserve marine life but also minimized potential fire hazards caused by accumulated flammable materials.
