Enjoying Excellent Coffee And Delicious Food At UCC Clockwork Bacolod
UCC Clockwork Bacolod is the 1st UCC Branch in Western Visayas
One of the most effective way of relaxing is drinking coffee, whether it be hot or cold. Some people have it delivered if they don’t feel like going out or when they’re just too busy at home. But it’s also nice to visit coffee shops every once in a while and have your caffeine fix while enjoying some delicious food in a comfortable environment. Just chilling and not having a care in the world.
There are many coffee shops in Bacolod, the newest of which is the Ueshima Coffee Company (UCC) Clockwork which opened last July 25. Located at the Ground Floor of the PNB Building, Lacson Street, Bacolod City, this is UCC’s first branch in Western Visayas.
It’s also the third franchise of ACC Top Food Ventures next to Vertis North and Cliffhouse Tagaytay and forms part of over 30 UCC branches in the Philippines (Metro Manila, Antipolo, Laguna, Tagaytay, and Cebu).
UCC Clockwork is a third wave coffee shop and UCC’s newest concept store featuring blends from variety of local and international single origin coffee. Founded by Tadao Ueshima, the Father of Coffee in Japan, UCC was introduced in the Philippines in year 2000 by entrepreneur Hubert Young.
Aside from the excellent coffee, diners can also choose from a vast array of Filipino and Japanese inspired food choices starting from appetizers to desserts. They have main dishes, pastas, and pastries prepared with the same care and quality as their coffees.
They have the “Coffee Around the World” where they prepare how other countries do their coffee. Plus, the simple and cozy interiors with its industrial structure instantly makes everyone feel welcome and at home.
Beef Hash Benedict

French Toast Tower (Berries and Cream) with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream
Another important reason why people should dine at UCC Clockwork in Bacolod is that it’s eyeing to help Negrense farmers by eventually sourcing raw materials locally. Steve Choa, the president and managing director of ACC Top Food Ventures, said that they’re currently sourcing their coffee beans both internationally and locally. He also said that UCC Philippines is working with coffee farmers in the country.
